How to shoot in astrophotography mode?

Google Camera version 7.0 and up comes with Astrophotography mode by default, but there are conditions that must be met to enable astrophotography mode. Usually, the following conditions must be met to capture in Astrophotography mode if manually not force enabled:

• It can be enabled on Night Sight mode (only)
• The phone must be kept static (use a tripod or keep the phone somewhere to keep it static)
• There must be low light condition
• It may take few seconds for this mode to come up when the above conditions are met

– When the display shows something like “Astrophotography is on” or “Capturing cuttlefish” (or on some GCam ports nothing is shown at all) while capturing a photo in Night Sight mode, then it is shooting in astrophotography mode otherwise not.
– If the GCam takes a lot of time usually more than 30 seconds then it is capturing in Astro mode.
– When I kept the phone static in front of a good light source, the Astrophotography mode did not turn on.
So, make sure it is a low light environment.

Подготовка к установке Гугл камеры на Самсунг Galaxy S7

Этот способ установки Google Camera должен подойди для более старых моделей Samsung, включая Galaxy S7. Для его реализации потребуется разблокировать загрузчик смартфона. А также подключить его к компьютеру для ввода команд с консоли ADB.

Порядок действий:

1. В зависимости от модели Samsung, эти действия могут различаться. Необходимо стать разработчиком для устройства. Для этого откройте настройки смартфона;

2. Нажмите на пункт «Система»;

   Выберите пункт «Система»

3. Далее выберите «О телефоне»;

   Нажмите на пункт «О телефоне»

4. На следующем экране нужно тапнуть по номеру сборки 10-15 раз. На экране появится уведомление, что вы стали разработчиком для устройства;

   Нажмите несколько раз по пункту «Номер сборки»

5. Теперь нужно вернуться на шаг назад в окно «О системе» и выбрать пункт «Для разработчика». Он будет находиться в пункте «Дополнительно».

В окне для разработчиков нужно найти ещё один пункт «Отладка по USB» и активировать его.

Выберите «Отладка по USB»

После чего необходимо перевести мобильное устройство в режим Fastboot. Для этого выключите его и нажмите вместе клавиши увеличения громкости и включения питания. И подключите телефон по кабелю USB к компьютеру или ноутбуку.

How to Install Google Camera on Samsung Galaxy M51

This is a modified Google Camera app, also known as Pixel Camera. Google Camera is the stock camera app shipped on Nexus and Pixel phones from Google. Google’s HDR+ technology improves picture quality specially on low and mid end phones.

Features include HDR+, portrait mode, motion photos, panorama, lens blur, 60fps video, slow motion, and more.

Because Google Camera wasn’t created to work on all phones, it’s all a bit messy (read: why so many devs/ports), but a few developers try to make it compatible with a huge number of phones.

Don’t blame Google if something doesn’t work, after all this is not the official app. Keep in mind that GCam isn’t open source, so it’s hard or even impossible to add new features.
